Chapter 1: On the Ascendant

Chapter 3: Planets and Aspects
Sun in 1st house:
The Sun in the 1st house is fortunate because the Sun represents happiness and you should complement each other very nicely. When people see this nice energy surrounding you, they tend to gravitate closer to you, wanting to bask in the warmth themselves. You will be able to accomplish a great deal together, much more than you could apart from each other. Should anyone challenge this position of the Sun, you will be found to be very formidable adversaries. One of the negative placements of the Sun here is that one or both of you will worry about appearances to other people, neglecting problems that need to be worked on. Another danger of this energy is coming on too strong to others, driving them away, or having them openly oppose you or the projects that you are working on.
Sun Conjunct Moon
There is a real attraction between you and when you are together you feel much more complete than when you are alone or apart. The more time you spend together, the more you will sense that you are operating as one rather than two. There will be a sense of purpose in your being together and since this aspect is marriage oriented, thoughts along this line would be natural for you.

The Moon always represents your emotional needs and when placed in the 2nd house it indicates that money, security, financial happiness and possessions will be a very strong emphasis in your lives, like the glue that binds you together. You will never be too quick to give anything away that takes away from your secure home life. Now this need for emotional security could cause one or both of you to become “pack rats”, which means you keep adding to what you have, never getting rid of anything. You will find in the long run that material possessions actually start to own you, thus limiting your freedom. Then you are trapped in the relationship because you are afraid to lose the things that keep you together. Even though some of the negatives have been pointed out, this is still a very favorable position for the Moon and the relationship’s security.

Neptune always paints a picture of illusion, fantasy, hope and the ideal. Because of Neptune you will be very much in tune with each other’s emotions and feelings right from the start. But this may add confusion to your relationship if communications are not kept open.
Now for the not so good news. Since Neptune loves to paint a pretty picture, you can easily misread each other’s intentions or exaggerate feelings or trusts that are not really there. You really need to be very careful of the hopes or expectations in your relationship as they are apt NOT to work out. Try to be as honest as possible with each other so there is no self-deception or misunderstandings.
